Our specialist environmental team will carry out independent verification of remediation to ensure that the project meets the objectives of the Remediation Method Statement (RMS) and the approval of the regulatory authorities.
This work typically involves site investigation, verification sampling, and compliance testing of treated soils, completed ‘clean’ excavations, imported capping materials, checking capping thicknesses, and the collection and collation of other site data such as level surveys and “duty of care” documentation.
For some sites, post-remediation monitoring may be required to demonstrate the long-term effectiveness of the remedial works, for example, in relation to groundwater quality or gas emissions.
Our clients are kept up-to-date with progress and compliance during site remediation works, post-remediation certification and verification reports to ensure approval of the regulatory authorities.
