Brownfield Development – Former Brickworks
The development site comprised a former Brickworks and two clay pits.
The pit to the south of the site had been backfilled in the 1980s–1990s, and fully restored; while the central area had been allowed to flood and was in use as a fishing lake. Disused buildings including the pan house, clay feed hoppers, clay conveyers, a boiler house, chimney, kilns and fuel storage tanks remained on site.
