Southern Testing Red Nose Row Day Update

For Red Nose Day, 24th March 2017, Southern Testing embarked on another challenging quest, to row across the English Channel to France. To avoid heaps of health and safety paperwork (and getting wet) it was decided to row on a static rowing machine, based at our Head Office in East Grinstead.

The distance between Dover and Calais is 26 miles, and at first it was thought that this would easily be an adequate distance to cover on a rowing machine over the course of a working day, but due to some over enthusiastic folk and others forgetting their virtual passports, we were forced to turn back and head for home.

In all, we rowed 52 miles, consumed around 500 cakes, and raised £150 for Comic Relief and our chosen charity, The PSP Association.

Thank you to everyone who got involved!!
