New Grouting Injection Capabilities

As part of an ongoing drive to expand our ground investigation and contracting services, Southern Testing have developed a modular grouting system to enable us to inject tremmied grout into boreholes of up to 50m depth. By using a high pressure helical rotor pump in conjunction with a portable hydraulic power pack, we can now provide a highly mobile means to backfill boreholes with a wide range of batched or site mixed grouts, even cementitious materials with some granular content.

The pump can be carried by a team of 2 operators and operated on long hydraulic hoses, making it ideal of confined space or limited access working, where a conventional screed pump would be impractical.

The system is compatible with rigid or flexible tremmie lines and is based on a standard 1” quick claw connection to allow easy withdrawal of the tremmi pipe during injection works. The pumping system can draw from a batching drum or hopper via a 2” inlet, and can be adapted to suit the grout supply output as required.
