Local Site Unveiled by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne

A statue has been recently been unveiled by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of the World War Two pioneering plastic surgeon Sir Archibald McIndoe in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

Southern Testing’s main offices are based in East Grinstead and a number of our staff live within the town and the local area so we were pleased to be asked to assist with the site investigation and foundation design for the 7ft tall statue and its display plinth.

The statue was unveiled earlier in the month by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, to a crowd of over a thousand local residents and a number of McIndoe’s patients known as “The Guinea Pig Club”.
