Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Working Arrangements

Southern Testing are continuing to work through the Coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency, including carrying out site work where it is safe to do so.

The Government have given express support to the Construction sector and have issued specific guidance for working on site. The Construction Leadership Council have also issued guidance.

We have revised our travelling and working practices to ensure that our staff are protected, and to meet the particular requirements of the guidance as well as our own risk assessments. The guidance and our working practices are under constant review.

Most site investigation work can be undertaken safely under the current restrictions.

We have well established IT systems, allowing our engineering staff to work at home with full access to our databases and relevant programs. This means that we can still prepare our reports and efficiently deal with any new enquiries that you might have.
