Southern Testing is a leading independent Geotechnical, Geoenvironmental and Ground Investigation Specialist providing both Consultancy and Contractor Site Investigation Services to a broad client base throughout the UK. We employ a team of 70 staff across four regional UK offices, under the  strong leadership of highly experienced, Chartered and Incorporated, Geotechnical, Geological, Civil and Environmental Engineers, as well as specialist retained industry Consultants. They are supported by enthusiastic and forward thinking, multi-disciplined teams of senior and graduate engineers and environmental scientists, in-house field technicians, drilling crews, laboratory technicians and administrative staff.

We are fully committed to the professional development all our staff and have established separate structured training routes for each.

We support membership of the Geological Society of London, Institution of Civil Engineers and Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. Our in-house Engineering Geologist training scheme is accredited by the Geological Society of London (GSL).
