Since our formation in 1967 we have been providing site investigation services throughout the UK across a diverse range of environments, including commercial, residential, infrastructure, utilities, highways, healthcare and education, and have completed over 22,000 projects to date.
An effective site investigation is not only fundamental to determine the geological, engineering, environmental and contamination characteristics of any site, but can also significantly reduce risks and hence design and construction costs.
Having our own experienced site staff and fleet of specialist investigation plant and equipment allows us to design, effectively manage and tailor each project to the clients needs, and so react rapidly to any changing conditions. This flexibility helps to ensure that any risks are effectively and promptly managed and thus minimised.

All our site staff are fully trained in soil logging and testing to relevant British and European Standards, use of CAT and Genny (cable location devices), Asbestos Awareness, Site Safety, First Aid (Appointed persons), Fire and Emergency procedures, and all possess appropriate CSCS cards. All operators have obtained an NVQ in Land Drilling or are BDA approved.
In addition, our specialists are also trained in BOHS qualifications (management, identification, surveying & bulk sampling of Asbestos Containing Materials), Streetworks (NRSWA), and Confined Access procedures.

Specialist Site Investigation Contracting
Our Field Operations Division “ST Site Services” also offer a Site Investigation Contracting Service, providing specialist investigation plant with experienced operators to work under direct supervision of your Engineer.
