Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP ) systems utilise the thermal store properties of the ground to extract low temperature heat energy. The energy is converted in a high temperature for water and space heating by use of a heat pump. GSHP systems have a low CO2 output compared to conventional central heating systems and their use in the UK is predicted to increase with the need for sustainable energy sources and as government grants help to ease the installation costs. The heat collector for these systems will often comprise a series of vertical pipes placed in boreholes known as a ground loop. |

Our services include the following:·
We will work closely with the system designers to ensure specified ground loop spacing and depths are achievable and can provide a variety of drilling equipment based on access requirements and expected borehole depth. |
